Ethos

Our guiding ethos is simple: make beer and be the type of company that would do right by Hartford. Anything short of that is a failure. And if the worst thing to ever happen was going out of business, we’ve been there. Time to go for broke.

Hanging Hills offers a core lineup of beers that we’re always perfecting. From our naturally carbonated Germanic pilsner, Hills Pils, to our West Coast IPA inspired Metacomet to our brand new NEIPA, Jalamanta, each beer is a journey towards perfecting. Every time you drink a new batch of Hanging Hills beer, it is better than it was previously because we’re never satisfied.

Core Beliefs

A core belief is raw materials are a finite resource. This is why we partnered with the National Resource Defense Council (NRDC)’s Brewers for Clean Water Initiative to support the Clean Water Act. Without clean water, there is no good beer.
